Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve undoubtedly got questions about your building project and we’ve got answers.

Here are some of the most common questions we’re usually asked by our clients.

What areas do you cover?

We’re based in South Wales and regularly work across the Valleys, including Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just get in touch — if we can help, we will.

We offer a fully project-managed service, so you only deal with one point of contact. From start to finish, we coordinate all trades — plastering, plumbing, electrics, roofing, landscaping and more — using trusted subcontractors who share our high standards.

That depends on the scale of the renovation. For smaller fit-outs or room-by-room upgrades, it’s often possible. For full restorations or back-to-brick projects, it may be safer and more comfortable to move out temporarily.

We’ll always be honest about what to expect and work with you to minimise disruption.

Yes — we have experience delivering council-backed renovations and grant-funded works, especially for heritage and community buildings. We’re happy to liaise with local authorities, including Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff Borough Councils, and support clients through the application and compliance processes.

Every project is different. After an initial site visit and quote, we’ll provide a realistic timeline — not just what sounds good. We pride ourselves on staying on schedule and keeping you updated at every stage.

On occasions, we may discover remedial work that might need to be undertaken during your project. This is often hidden by floorboards and plasterboards, so it might only be discovered once we commence works. In such cases, we’ll try as hard as we can to stay within our estimated time frame, but unforeseen issues like this might require additional labour or sourcing additional materials.

We only ever recommend work you need to undertake for safety or comfort reasons. We’ll always seek your consent before undertaking additional work so you are always in control of the timescale.

Yes, we offer free, no-obligation quotes. We’ll visit the property, discuss your needs, and provide a clear, detailed estimate — no vague figures, no hidden extras.
